The first month of the year has proven to be less intense for those who appreciate the typical giant waves of Nazaré, however, the North Beach remains a good scenario for training and attract surfers from around the world.

  The 21 January was no exception, with Australian surfers Jarryd Foster and Mick Corbett and the Brazilian Thiago Jacare, Marcelo Luna and Fabiano Tissot who took the last swell with well-formed waves, and enjoyed in a nice surf session. Surfers were not the only ones to recognize the good conditions and they counted with the presence of bodyboarder André Santos.
