An impressive storm is tracking favorably toward Praia do Norte, signaling a high probability that the one-day Big wave tow-in surf competition will run on Saturday, 13 December, pending final confirmation. This refers to the 2025/2026 season.

The next call will be made on Friday, 12 December at 8:30 a.m. GMT for a possible start on Saturday, 13 December at 9:00 a.m. GMT.
